We are finalizing our last week training approach with Malena. She has been rocking it!
We are polishing up the commands she has picked up quickly. Like most smart dogs, the work is in the details. It’s always fun and training looks easy when we are posting video updates and a trainee looks like they have it all figured out.
But…
Smart dogs require the most amount work. It’s about making sure they can follow through with the commands. Making sure they can hold the commands. It’s the details. Those are the daily challenges we have with our quick learners. And they ARE Challenges!
We put in so much work here at Core DTS, most of our dogs go home with their humans needing to use the remote minimally or not at all with some commands. Don’t forget, if you see Malena out and about, say hi!
