This isn’t another post from a Dog Trainer, trying to scold you into submission to get your dog trained. There are plenty of those Posts, Tweets, TikTok’s, you name it.
We don’t believe adding onto that pile, helps anyone.
So… Do you spend the money to get your dog trained?
Well, we’ve all been there… We love our dog. We want to spend more time with our dog. Like we see in all those cool 15 second dog training videos. We want to be able to do those things just like everyone else.
It’s just hard to commit right now because you know you’re going to be the one who has to do all the treat training work. You do everything already.
Plus… Work life is hectic. Kids are demanding. The significant other says they will do the training but we both know that’s not going to happen. The training cost seems confusing. The significant other saw the training cost and insists they will do the training.
Again, we both know that’s not going to happen. And it’s not realistic. You’re not going to get this amazingly trained dog just because the significant other believes they can get the same results they saw off a video. You’re also tired of having a family dog that only sheds, poops, jumps on everyone, tears stuff up, grabs food of the table right in front of you, barks at everything all day long, along with an endless amount of other things. Life is a battlefield.
Also, where do you begin training? Do you start with treat training? Work your way up to a prong collar. Then an e-collar? It’s starting to sound more like a full time job the more you think about it.
The biggest turn-off people have about investing money in dog training is for years they have seen their friends take their dog to a dog training school. Only to realize they smell like dog food everywhere they go. Everything now revolves around their dog and they can’t go do things like they used to. The training never seems to end. And it feels like their friends took a second full time job. Just without the pay because they never have time for fun anymore. You would’ve sworn they were about to pull out all their hair the other day when you asked them to go hang out.
We get it. Dog training… You want it. You need it. You wish your dog already had it. You just can’t see yourself going through those same obstacles only to later throw your hands up and be right back where you started.
We get it! It’s unrealistic to burn the candle from both ends. You want a dog you can enjoy without making yourself crazy learning a new skill set that is really a full time second job.
That’s why we are here. We do the work so you don’t have to try. We know work isn’t slowing down. If fact, it’s only going to pick up. And the kids… The kids are never going to stop saying, “Mom. Mom. Mom.”. Or, “Dad. Dad. Dad.”. They just say it differently as they grow up.
The good news… You can have a well trained dog when your dog goes home. And we expect you to go out into this crazy world and do things with your dog. You pay a one-time cost. Our process is easy to pick up. And it’s even easier to keep as time goes by if you do the simple things we teach you.
You can always see for yourself. Check out our many Dog Owner videos on Instagram and Facebook. We show our work!
