A Must! Before Selecting a Dog Trainer…

Getting a Trainer for your family dog is a huge responsibility and an even bigger decision. You are making choices that no longer impact just your pocket book. You are making a decision that affects your dog and your future relationship bond along with the end-training results. That’s a lot to put on a plate.

I don’t want to add more to this pretty full plate you’re dealing with, but I wouldn’t really be helping you if I didn’t. Let me add a little foundation to this metaphorically full plate we are talking about.

What is the benefit of using your time resources, money resources, and building trust in a business if you’re not looking into how they insure their own business? I equate it to getting life insurance or car insurance. You don’t just hope for the best. We all look over those policies pretty closely and shop around before making those hard-line financial decisions. The type of coverage and the insurance company they use also lets you know how far into the future they see themselves doing that line of work.

The same applies to business insurance. Dog training, pet sitting, dog boarding, puppy purchasing, and dog walking are all definitely a business. If you look at the insurance for the person you want to do business with, you’ll see how serious they take their own business and if you really want to feel comfortable leaving your family dog with them for that service or purchase. I know some people are comfortable rolling the dice. For those with strong attachments to their family dog you want some assurance that the person they are potentially going to do business with is serious about their own business.

Get your dog beyond the backyard! Enjoy!
